Response Simulator for the Maritime industry

Safety incidents are part and parcel when operating within the Maritime field. In order to better prepare safety experts for the risks of incidents, VSTEP Simulation presents a solution for safe, cost-effective and sustainable virtual training – Response Simulator (RS). The solution meets the STCW Advanced Fire Fighting section A-VI/3 table A-VI/3-1.

In 2019, there were 3,174 marine incident and casualties, mostly caused by human and mechanical errors (Safety4Sea). Debriefing functionality: Users are able to easily record and playback the simulated training exercise in sync with all verbal communication. This allows the instructor to effectively evaluate a trainee’s performance and discuss alternative response strategies.
Multi-user functionality: Users are able to divide roles and responsibilities in an incident and practice teamwork, communication skills and leadership skills.
Library of maritime objects, environments and characters: Allows instructors to easily create any imaginable scenario that meets varying levels of complexity and training objectives.
