As hydrodynamics engineer intern you will get a chance to work with our hydrodynamics models to create realistically manoeuvring vessels. Also, we would be able to offer you a research project ranging for development of a new engine model to improving ocean and wind interaction to contribute to the automation of data validation and configuration processes.A grasp from your daily work will be:
- Configure and maintain hydrodynamic models and relevant sub-systems for the customer ships on our maritime simulators.
- Perform validation of the ship models.
- Provide support to the existing customers to upgrade or maintain the customer ships on our maritime simulators.
- Assist the software development team with the implementation of numerical models for ship hydrodynamics.
- Maintain technical documentations for ship models.

You are:
- Looking for an internship position or graduation project as part of you education or studies
- A team player, but also able to operate independently.
- Passionate about ships and ship hydrodynamics.
- Easy to communicate with.

- Able to share your knowledge with your colleagues.
- Located in the Netherlands.
You have:
- HBO or Bachelor degree in the fields of Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, Engineering or Physics
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, C++).
- Good communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch.
- An enthusiastic, proactive and quality-oriented attitude.
- A Dutch working permit and you are based in the Netherlands.
