INSTRUCTOR STATION 2.0 & LOGIC EDITOR
One of the cornerstones of this release is the alpha version of the new Instructor Station. The updated Instructor Station introduces the Logic Editor, a feature that enables instructors to automate events and assignments within training scenarios. This significantly reduces the manual workload of an instructor during session setup and delivery, allowing more time and attention for teaching, coaching and trainee observation.
For maritime training centres and academies using bridge simulator software, this represents a meaningful shift in how instructors interact with the simulator. Rather than managing events manually in real time, instructors can pre-configure scenario logic and let the system handle routine triggers automatically.
New Features in NAUTIS 3.10
- Local weather control
NAUTIS 3.10 introduces localised weather control, enabling instructors to specify custom weather conditions within any designated area of any shape or size. Conditions including cloudiness, rain, hail and snow can be applied to specific zones, and weather systems can be set to move in any direction. This allows for highly realistic and scenario-specific environmental conditions that reflect the actual challenges maritime professionals face at sea.
- 4k Rendering Resolution. NAUTIS now supports 4K rendering which has been tested and validated during the most recent DNV audit in 2024.

IMPROVEMENTS
- The velocity feedback loop in Thrust Allocation (TA) enables precise tuning for counteracting velocities, enhancing sidestepping on ships like Tiger, CTV2 and Arie Visser.
- Steering pump configuration has been standardized into Seagoing and Inland configurations across all vessels (except bow/stern propulsions).
- NFU controls will now keep functioning when the control failure is enabled.
