The NAUTIS Navigation Simulator contains a content and functionality package that provides functionalities specific to navigation, ECDIS, Radar/ARPA, communications and search & rescue training. The Navigation package is primarily used by nautical colleges and academies to teach students the basics of waterway traffic regulations, collision regulations and more. A wide variety of vessels, surroundings and conditions can be added to training scenarios. Any vessel can be used with certain types already included such as cargo vessels, passenger ships, tankers, leisure yachts and container vessels. Custom vessels can also be built on request as well as sailing environments.

The search & rescue elements included in this module, enable you to train for any unlikely events such as man overboard, a neighboring ship dealing with an emergency including lifeboats, free-floating rafts, and signals like SART and pyrotechnics.
